Keeping Exhibits Safe is a Daily Challenge

Working as a security guard at a museum really opens your eyes to how much care goes into protecting our exhibits. Just last week, I caught a teenager leaning way too close to a delicate painting, and it reminded me of how vital our presence is for public safety. It’s a constant balance between allowing people to engage with the art and keeping everything safe from potential harm.

And , I totally get that! Just last week, I had to remind a family not to let their kids press their faces against a glass case — it’s such a fine line to walk. Maybe having a couple of well-placed signs could help with that?
