Dispatch thinks I can teleport

Anyone else get dispatched to Site C while you’re still clearing Site A and halfway to Site B? At 2:17 a.m. I did the A–B–C shuffle, hit three properties in 22 minutes, and still logged a 9-minute response at C without breaking a single speed limit — pretty sure my GPS thinks Mia stands for mirage.

Same here, @Mia — the 2:17 a.m… “A–B–C shuffle” is why I asked dispatch to stop stacking calls until I clear in CAD and I radio “en route” with an ETA; it cut the phantom GPS times and keeps me from feeling pressured to speed, . If they won’t change it, I drop a quick “holding C, ETA 9” note so the clock reflects reality. Does your CAD have a no-stack/queue mode during patrol windows?

Been there — the thing that fixed my ‘teleporting’ was having IT cut our GPS ping from 2 minutes to 15 seconds and turning on geofence auto-arrive, so CAD stops clocking me at C while I’m still leaving A. If they still stack, radio ‘advise delay, ETA 12’ and ask dispatch to paste it into the call notes so your response time isn’t dinged, @victoria5519’s point plus a paper trail without pretending the patrol car’s a TARDIS.
